Hey, I’m Sam — I run Basaltun, a content studio based in Los Angeles.

I’ve been doing this since I was 15 — started on big sets, learned the ropes early, and somehow never stopped. Over the years, I’ve worked on all kinds of projects: Super Bowl commercials, global documentaries, tv series, short movies, even fashion NFTs… you name it. I’ve filmed in cities like Istanbul and Amsterdam, but also out in places like Somalia and Chad, adapting to whatever the job throws my way.

Basaltun is really just the evolution of all that — a space where I take everything I’ve learned from cinematic production and apply it to brand content that actually feels alive. Whether it’s a sleek real estate reel, a heartfelt wedding film, or a bold campaign for a wellness brand — the goal’s the same: tell the story well, make it beautiful, and deliver it with zero fluff.

People come to me when they need content that doesn’t just “look good,” but works. That might mean short-form edits for social, polished promos, or clean, emotionally-driven storytelling that fits their brand.
